 We have recently had a number of customers contacting us looking for Bioveris Specialty Culture Media (Bioveris Corp No.:210001). So we contacted Bioveris directly and learned that they will no longer be manufacturing the product. In fact we were informed that there are a number of Bioveris products besides the Specialty Culture Media that you may have grown accustomed to using that will no longer be available.
For those who are unaware, Bioveris was aquired in late 2007 by Roche. The focus of the acquisition should significantly aid Roche Diagnostics in expanding its footprint in the immunochemistry market from just the human diagnostics field into new market segments like life science research and development, patient self testing, drug discovery, and much more.
For those researchers who utilized the Specialty Culture Media in the work, there may be a limited stock of a similar product available. Feel free to contact Proscien at info@proscien.com to discuss what options may be available.
